Idiotic stoplight at Intersection of Sihanouk Blvd. and Street 63 (Trasak Paem) - Video by Theary C. Seng

This is not the only stoplights with this idiotic lighting system--I have seen similar craziness at the Tuol Kork and Street 271 (Bung Tumpun) lights where green arrows of straight, left, right are shown in one direction of the street, while the opposite direction flashes the same green signals.

well, just go with the flow. maybe it's ok to the Khmer people because it's their norm. in the west, there are social norms that look weird to foreigners as well.
some traffic lights/signs in the usa confuse me as well. just my opinions.

Nobody can do shit in Cambodia!
Let Hun Sen fix the stop light, he is Mr. Know all.

This may seem strange, or idiotic, as dubbed by the reporter. But it is normal in Cambodia. It is true that when the light goes green, motorists can go either of the three directions.

To them your system is idiotic too.
